Environmental Health Specialist

1. A qualified Environmental Health Practitioner with at least 5 years working experience. (Key)
2. Sales and/or marketing experience very important. (Key)
3. Able to work with minimum supervision.
4. Team player, willing to learn and accept criticism.
5. Fair knowledge of disease causing insects, (biology, habits, effects on humans) micro-organisms and their control.
6. In depth knowledge/experience of malaria control.
7. Ability to demonstrate creativity and problem solving skills. Will need to exhibit strong judgement and decision making qualities.
8. Must possess skills of interacting with people at all levels of decision making. Experience in working with rural communities and farmers will be a strong advantage.
9. Willing to spend periods of time away from home.
10. Self-motivated to seek out, recognise and act upon local market opportunities which can have both short and long term impact.
11. Demonstrable knowledge/experience of working with Government departments like ZEMA, Min of Health, NGO’s and farmer organisations such as ZNFU.
12. Clean driver’s licence
