HITACHI ZAMBIA TRAINING COORDINATOR

Hitachi Construction Machinery Zambia Ltd is looking for a suitably qualified individual who will be able to promote organizational excellence, for the below mentioned position to be based in Lusaka.
POSITION: HITACHI ZAMBIA TRAINING COORDINATOR
JOB INTENT: Develop and Implement soft skills technical training strategies, plans and processes to support HCMZ goals.
REPORTS TO: The Human Resource Manager
Key Responsibilities
  • Training needs Assessment process for new and existing staff developed on time.
  • Training programs monitored and evaluated in alignment with corporate strategy
  • Ensure Training is undertaken in a systematic training model or circle
  • Ensure Training is conducted on all technical and soft skills in the Company
  • Come up with a Training matrix for the whole Company
  • Progression by rate for all technical positions developed on time
  • Coordinate all training needs in the Company
  • Training manuals updated and maintained
  • All trainings for the year done as per approved Training plan and budget
  • Training concerns adequately addressed as per training manual
  • Training reports compiled and done monthly
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Qualified Mechanic/Electrician
  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, mechanical Engineering or similar will be an added advantage
  • 6 years Minimum Experience as a trainer and in Technical Experience
Competences
  • Excellent people Management Skills
  • Proficient in Advanced computer skills(MS Excel and MS Word)
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of learning, development and facilitation methods
  • Advanced knowledge of heavy machinery
  • Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
  • Training and mentoring skills
