MDT Nutrition Analyst job in Zambia

The World Food Programme (WFP) the food assistance organization of the United Nations is seeking applications from qualified national candidates to fill the following position;
MDT Nutrition Analyst
Contract Type Service Contract (SC)
Duty Station Lusaka, Zambia
The MDT Nutrition Analyst will be mainly responsible for the following duties:
Duties and Responsibities
• Develop a strong Scaling up Nutrition (SUN) Business Network brand and membership
• Recruit and retain high profile and committed SUN Business Network members from Zambia’s private sector and other key partners
• Plan and organize regular meetings networking activities, workshops and other events
• Increase commercial engagement in the nutrition market
• Develop and share nutrition market information with members of the SUN Business Network, through research stakeholder interviews and field trips
• Support members in developing proposals to seek finding for nutrition Initiatives
• Improve the nutrition regulatory environment including liaising with relevant government stakeholders to share private sector challenges and opportunities and advocate for policy change where needed
• Improve nutrition distribution partnerships including linkages between SUN Business Network members, and provide up to date distribution Information to reduce distribution challenges for nutrition products
• Improve nutrition m the business community through advocacy and encouragement as part of everyday SBN activities for workplace health and nutrition programmes
• Carry out other tasks, as required, to support the day-to-day activities of WFP’s engagement with the private sector on nutrition in Zambia
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in business management international development or related field
• 2 years’ experience in prefect management, analyst role and business process
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point skills
