Strategic Information Advisor

Founded in 1964, the Zambian Medical Association (ZMA) is a leading Zambian organization in health advocacy and innovative health programme development. A membership organization of all medical doctors in Zambia. ZMA promotes high standard of medical practice both in health facilities and at community level through the support of quality and sustainable health service provision, advocacy, health policy reform and research.
In anticipation of Funding from USAID for the Maternal and Child Health Project (MNCH) project whose objective is to reduce maternal and child deaths, ZMA seeks qualified, experienced and self-motivated individuals to fill in the following position:
Strategic Information Advisor
Is responsible for overseeing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities including but not limited to, quarterly reporting, M&E coordination with other projects. Will design and provide oversight of studies
and evaluations.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Public Health or other relevant discipline with most recent M&E training from a reputable institution.
Experience
  • At least 5 years of M&E experience
  • Proven experience and skills in research/study design and implementation including data analysis of quantitative / qualitative studies and rapid appraisal.
Required Silks
  • Advanced computer skills in statistical software eg SPSS, STATA, Epi-Info etc
  • Excellent skills n report writing, analysis and communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
