Administrative Assistant job in Zambia

Financial Sector Deeping Zambia(FSDZ) is a DFID – funded project that supports both public and private sector efforts to develop an efficient and vibrant financial sector that offer offers a wider range of financial services to significantly more households,smallholder farmers, and micro and small enterprise.FSDZ has approximately 15 technical and operational staff and a large but fluctuating number of short term technical consultants.FSDZ is implemented by DAI Europe and supported by DAI’s London office. The primary objective of this position is to support FSDZ’s daily operations. The Administration Assistant reports to the operations officer officer and is responsible for manning reception, organizing meeting, making travel and accommodation bookings,supporting FSDZ event planning,overseeing the driver schedules,coordinating office maintenance,managing petty cash expenditure,ordering and maintaining stocks of office supplies,taking meeting minutes,initiating administrating procurement,coordinating IT support and providing general administrative support to the whole team.
Candidates must meet these minimum requirements:
• At least one year’s experience providing administrative and finance support in a similar type of organization
• Event planning and travel planning experience
• Outstanding communication skills including excellent telephone manner and general spoken and written English
• Familiarity with standard accounting procedure
• Experience in producing basic reports in Microsoft office Word and Excel
• Highly organized, efficient and responsive
• Very detail oriented
• Excellent references for relevant similar position
