Internal Auditor

Job Title: Accountant
Job Purpose
The job involves internal financial controls induding independent, objective assurance on the use of resources designed to add value and improve the organisations operations. The Auditor is expected to add value to the organisation’s ability to accomplish its objectives to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control transparency and accountability.
Qualifications and Required Experience
  • Qualified Internal Auditor (IAA or equivalent) or a qualified accountant (ZICA, ACCA or equivalent.);
  • Fully registered and paid up member of ZICA
  • Internal Audit experience within a not for profit public sector organisation OR experience within external audit from an accountancy practice
  • Computer literate — must possess high level of computer literacy in Word, Excel and Knowledge in Accounting Package (Pastel) is a must and not less than 3 years of operation,
  • Ability to work autonomously in a stand-alone role;
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently with minimum supervision;
  • Must be able to exercise high levels of integrity, honesty, and due diligence when carrying out duties and responsibilities.
