Accountant – NPA/04: Reference Number: FIN/ACC/04
Report to the Senior Accountant, the officer/s responsibility shall be to supervise and ndertake accounting activities in order to enhance accountability of funds
Principal Accountabilities
• Supervises effectively payroll inputs in order to facilitate payments of salaries and other allowances
• Supervises timely and accurately the maintenance of books of accounts in order to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of information
• Supervises and undertakes timely banking of revenue collections in order to safeguard public funds
• Supervises effectively preparation of responses to audit queries in order to facilitate decision making
• Supervises timely preparation of monthly expenditure statements in order to monitor levels of expenditure
• Supervises and undertakes timely recoveries of loans and advances in order to facilitate repayments
• Supervises timely preparation of financial reports in order to facilitate decision making
• Supervises timely development of individual and unit work plan in order to monitor and evaluate performance
• Supervises effectively the human and other resources in order to attain the objectives of the authority
• Supervises timely and accurately the maintenance of books of accounts in order to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of information

Knowledge And Skills Requirements
• Full Form V or Grade XII School Certificate
• Bachelor of Accountancy, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Job Experience 2 years

Executive Officer (01) – NPA/06: Reference Number: HRA/EXO/06
Reports to the Administrative officer and the officer shall be responsible for undertaking the provision of administrative support services in order to facilitate efficient and effective operations of the authority.
Principal Accountabilities
• Undertakes timely availability of secretarial services in order to enhance operations of the ministry
• Supervise effectively maintenance of buildings and surroundings in order to enhance conducive working environment
• Undertakes timely provision of office space to officers in order to accommodate everyone
• Undertakes timely provision and maintenance of office equipment in order to enhance utilisation of equipment
• Undertakes effectively protocol functions in order to facilitate ministerial and other functions

Reports to the Senior Purchasing and Supplies officer
Responsibilities
• The officer shall be responsible for undertaking the provision of storage, distribution and maintenance of procurement records in order to facilitate decision making
Principal Accountabilities
• Undertakes timely storage of goods in order to avoid loss and destruction
• Maintains accurately an up-to-date Register of Suppliers in order to establish a reliable supplier base.
• Prepares and undertakes effectively the provision of secretarial services to NPA Tender Committee to facilitate decision making
• Prepares timely and accurately Bidding documents in order to facilitate decision making
• Supervises effectively the procurement of goods, services and works in order to ensure their timely availability.
• Maintains accurately an up-to-date Register of Suppliers in order to establish a reliable supplier base.
• Prepares and undertakes effectively the provision of secretarial services to NPA Tender Committee to facilitate decision making
