SOS Childrens Villages Zambia is a childcare and development non-governmental organization existing in 134 countries worldwide and looking after children. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following position in the organization.

National Office, Lusaka

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Social Sciences or the equivalent.
• At least live (5) years proven experience in fund development, marketing. communication and institutional / Giant corporate fundraising of which three (3) years were at Senior Management level
• The applicants should be an outgoing person with existing contacts with corporates and bilateral institutions both in and outside Zambia. Further strong contacts with media institutions both private and government owned will be an added advantage.
• This is a senior management position reporting to the National Director
• Applicants should be computer literate and execellent writters (both for grant proposals and media works-evidence of writing skills will be required at interview stage
• Should be a team player with leadership skills, integrity, progressive un-blemish track record and an effective communicator to both local and international corporates house including the media
• Strong ability to write grant proposals and reports including to the Board of Trustees from time-to-time
• Applicants should be willing to travel quarterly out of town to provincial locations with a view to create more contacts corporate house in the provinces
