Research and Statistics Officer - Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board


The Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board (WCFCB) a statutory body established under the Workers Compensation Act Number 10 of 1999 of the laws of Zambia s hereby inviting applications (or the following position:
Research and Statistics Officer
Reporting to the Manager – Benefits, the Officer will be required to contribute to the policy formulation in the collection of statistics and information relating to claims, benefits, membership and exits In order to have a workable and effective way of collecting information and utilizing it for the benefit of all the stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To make strategic plans to be used annually in the execution of the Departmental activities in order to adequately meet the requirements of the Act.
• To design an effective and efficient information system aimed at enhancing the quality of Information collected on claims, benefits and other relevant issues.
• Undertakes projects aimed at providing relevant information to the Board In order to improve data base of board members for realistic and speedy decisions.
Required Qualifications/ Experience
• Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate.
• Degree in Mathematics with Statistics/Actuarial Science or equivalent
• Minimum five (5) years relevant work.

• Good presentation organization and Interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Must be a Team Player
