The company wishes to fill the vacant positions of:
1. RETAIL CENTRE ASSISTANT – NDOLA
Job Purpose:
To be based in Ndola reporting to the Retail Centre Supervisor, the incumbent shall be responsible for all caller customers and invoice for all purchased items, with a view to maximize Company sales.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Attending to day to day running of the Centre and provide best service to all customers.
- Preparing and issuing out invoices for all products purchased
- Receiving cash and cheques at the counter for all invoiced items.
- Interacting with present arid potential customers for all requirements and product queries.
- Recording all new customers and informing Centre Representative about any developments in the area.
- Ensuring all books i,e. cash. credit, quotation, receipt, invoice etc) are filed and kept properly and safely.
- Preparing daily sales summaries, counting all cash and cheques and do the banking the following day after the Centre Representative has checked through.
- Issuing out quotations and giving advice to customers on the various products and services
- Recording and reporting on a daily basis customer complaints and lost and gained business and the reasons thereof
- Ensuring the depot is kept clean all the time and safety ¡5 strictly adhered to
- Upholding the company’s image and values at all times
Minimum Requirements:
- Full Grade 12 certificate
- Good Communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to use initiative and be adaptable
- Attention to detail
RETAIL CENTRE REPRESENTATIVES – KABWE & NDOLA
Job Purpose:
To attend to all caller customers and invoice for all purchased items, with a view to maximize Company sales.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Attending to day to day running of the Sales Centre and provide best service to all customers;
- Preparing and issuing out invoices for all purchased items,
- Receiving cash from customers at the counter for all invoiced items;
- Interacting with present and potential customers for all requirements and product queries;
- Recording all new customers and timely informing Retail Centre Supervisor about opportunities thereof
- Ensuring all books (i.e. cash, credit, quotation, receipt, invoice, etc are Kept properly and safely;
- Receiving orders from customers, preparing invoices for and arranging scheduled deliverers to customers on agreed delivery days;
- Preparing daily sales summaries, counting all cash and cheques, signs off and handing over all cash and cheques for the day’s sales to Retail Centre Supervisor at the close of each business day:
- Preparing weekly and monthly sales summaries, in value and volume, for the Centre and submitting to Retail Centre Supervisor;
- Preparing monthly cylinder reconciliation (i.e. tills in cylinder reconciliation forms) in the absence of Centre Supervisor;
- Issuing out quotations and giving advice to customers on the various products arid services;
- Recording and reporting on a day basis customer complaints and lost business in terms of nil stock items to Retail Centre supervisor and Regional Manager timely;
- Ensuring the Sales Office is kept clean and tidy at all times;
- Upholding the company’s image and values at all times;
- Carry out weekly and monthly stock counts and investigate and explain any stock variances.
Minimum Requirements:
- Full Grade 12 certificate
- A diploma qualification in Sales/Marketing/ Technical field or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in counter selling in a retail/wholesale environment.
Computer literacy, ACCPAC exposure. Retail selling skills, interpersonal and communication skills will be a distinct advantage
LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS FILLER – LUSAKA
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the incumbent shall be responsible for operation of LPG and CO2 Cylinder Filling Plants at the Lusaka Branch.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Day to day filling of all sizes of Fillable LPG cylinders.
- Generating production reports after each production cycle, which shall be reduced from bulk
- Carrying out pre and post fill inspections on all cylinders to be tilled
- Sorting out cylinders and identify fillable and non-fillable cylinders at the filling dock and other storage areas.
- Receiving and issuing cylinders from customers
- Processing relevant documentation accurately and timeously;
- Ensuring that only worthy cylinders are tilled correctly and safety;
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate.
- At least one year experience in a similar industry
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work safely in a busy environment with minimum supervision
STORES ASSISTANT -LUSAKA
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Retail Centre Supervisor -Lusaka, the incumbent shall be responsible for carrying out all tasks associated with safe storage, receiving, issuing and physical movement of materials in the Main stores, keeping stock card quantities current with every movement of materials. The incumbent shall be responsible for Lusaka Cylinder Gas Inventory Management (CGIM) and Bulk Gas Inventory Management (BGIM) functions too.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Store materials safely, orderly, and properly identified and packed/crated.
- Maintain good housekeeping in stores.
- Receive materials Inspect, and store in applicable designated locations.
- Update stock cards, identify slow moving and obsolete stocks and report to your supervisor for timely action
- Issue materials (FIFO-methodology) as requested (Production and outside processing) completing the relevant paperwork and updating stock cards See to the physical movement of material.
- Pack/crate finished goods properly for delivery
- Degrease relevant items. Ensure that the proper PPE is used and that the procedures are followed
- Carry out daily, weekly and monthly physical stock taking exercises – accuracy of prime importance. Report on stock levels.
- Keep a keen eye on stock levels of consumable materials and give timeous warning to re-order. All stock variances to be accurately investigated and acceptable explanations availed
- Attend monthly safety meeting and resolve problems
- To control the cylinders and bulk gases inventories effectively and efficiently, in such a way that stock losses are eliminated and timeously reconcile these stocks
- Ensure inventory levels are optimized and a quality service is rendered to customers
- To process documentation accurately and timeously; to maintain documentation flow and filing;
- To process dispatch and load Sheets
- To analyze and ensure stock availability
- To capture Trip Results and generate cylinder movement reports
- To reconcile Production Declaration
- To Process and reconcile bulk gas stock records.
Minimum Requirements:
- A diploma in a commercial, business field or accountancy with not less than 3 years’ experience
- Computer skills with ACCPAC; Data capturing and Inventory administration skills will be an added advantage.
