The Security Manager will be charged with the responsibility of providing a country security service to support the banks standards of protection for people and assets at points of representation, other strategic installations and support operations.

• Provide the strategic prediction of security trends and patterns.
• Conducting programmed safety and security audits at PORs within the country to address requirements around physical Security matters, Procedural measures and Cash Management: Test for compliance recommendations, report and progress
• Promoting general security awareness and vigilance
• Security awareness presentations to branch staff
• Identifying new risks relating to procedures and where necessary, motivate amendment to existing procedures regarding the security of premises
• Analysing incidents in terms of their circumstances and or modus operandi and where necessary, motivate amendment to existing policy, specifications and standards, in order to eliminate the risks, and reduce the frequency and severity of such incidents
• Providing safety and security advice and assistance to POR network
• Provide security input and sign off at PORs site planning and development stages,including renovations and relocations
• Keeping FCC Manager informed of all actions, incidents and other matters relating to safety and security operations within the country
• Attending to correspondence on issues of Safety and Security

• Business degree in a Commercial or Risk related field will be an added advantage
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of Security procedures, structures and equipment available in Bank occupied sites.
• Knowledge & experience
• 5 years post qualification experience
• Knowledge of Security procedures, structures and equipment available in Bank occupied sites.

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and a good team member
• Proactive and a self-starter
• Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to think logically
• Resilient and tough minded, being able to withstand pressure for sustained periods
