Program Assistant

Job Title: Program Assistant
Reporting to the Department of HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP) Program Manager, the Program Assistant will support the operational component of the DHAPP program. Specifically the Program Assistant will:
  • Track  implementation of the program budget and prepare monthly trend analysis reports
  • Coordinate and raise procurement requests for all program procurement needs and work in collaboration with the Procurement Officer to ensure timely and efficient delivery of program supplies
  • Develop and manage a program supply chain system to ensure supplies are efficiently distributed to the field; stock levels at national and field levels are adequately monitored and the stock record is timely updated; and procurement requests are made based on gaps
  • Work in collaboration with the Administration Officer to  coordinate and manage program travel logistics including hotel and transport bookings, and disbursement of per diem allowances to partners during field trips and off-site trainings
  • Write program correspondence to local partners
  • Synthesize monthly program reports from Technical Officers and prepare monthly summarized program reports
  • Work in collaboration with Technical Officers to document program success stories
How to Apply
To be considered one must have worked 2 – 3 years in a similar capacity and should have at least a Diploma/ Degree in Project Management or Social work .
