Lamudi (www.zm.lamudi.com) helps people find their ideal home, land and commercial property. Our goal is to empower consumers by bringing them in direct contact with the agents. Our listings aim at providing you with as much information as possible with in-depth insight to each property.
At Lamudi, we are not agents. Instead, we help you find your perfect property. We allow you to get in touch with the agents, who have the direct mandate for the property straight from the owner, bringing greater efficiency to the Zambian real estate market. WE ARE HIRING – SALES & KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (1), LUSAKA
Job Description
The ideal candidate will implement the company’s sales strategies and connect with the mission of providing the best real-estate platform in Zambia. S/he will have a strong and proven background in growing sales revenue, creating relationships with customers and maintaining processes. Candidate must be highly enthusiastic and self-motivated to work for an early-stage tech start-up, and adaptable to respond to a variety of tasks outside of given job description. We are looking for candidates with initiativeorganization, and superior communication and negotiation skills to take Lamudi to the next level.
Essential Duties:
  • Work 80% field and 20% office in order to source, signup and collect payments from customers.
  • Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and potential products.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge of all products and updates on Lamudi website.
  • Negotiates and sells to customer needs and builds on-going relationships with clients.  
  • Corresponds timely to inter-departmental requests, with team members located in different parts of Africa and Europe. 
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner through inbox and social media streams.
  • Responsible for the completion of customer accounts and edits in the back-end, tracking invoicing cycles, generating reporting, and reports to local Finance team. 
  • Monitor reports to ensure website meets/exceeds monthly performance indicators. 
Qualifications and Experience:
  • University Degree Required, preferably in Business or Marketing.
  • 2+ years of demonstrable sales experience, preferably in B2B environment.
  • Must: Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills – and key negotiation skills.
  • Digitally savvy: knowledge of e-commerce, easily navigates and learns new software, excellent skills in using all Microsoft Office programs.
