Account Manager
Our client is a leading water treatment company that has an opening for an Account Manager in their Water, Process and Services Group covering the Zambia region.
Requirements for this position:
- 2+ years successful direct sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possesses knowledge and skill level of District Representative I position and demonstrates mature sales account management skills
- BA / BS in a science or technical speciality
- Technical experience in metallurgy / copper / mining as they have many in-house sales course that the employees will attend.
- Must have process experience in copper, getting the ore to the plant and understanding the flotation of copper.
- There will be a lot of business travel involved as this is essentially a sales position.
- Technical experience VERY IMPORTANT
The successful candidate will be someone who can manage a contract/client relationship to retain the business and build on the existing business, develop and implement sales plans and sell the products. They must also have sufficient technical experience to be able to undertake site testing. Excellent people and communication skills and essential in this role as well.
