Administrative and Data Entry Clerk (Paid Internship)
About the Company
Rent‐to‐Own (RTO) is a social enterprise working to increase the prosperity of entrepreneurs in 30rural Zambia by providing productive assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
The administrative/data entry clerk will be reporting to the GM – Finance. This position is a paid internship position for 3 months. After this period the candidate will be evaluated for a permanent position in Rent-to-Own.
The primary role is to provide administrative and data entry tasks; be flexible and available to perform other duties in support of various office functions.
Duties and Functions
Support & assist the Database Administrator
Assist Database Administrator with the entry of Data from field scans or any other source into the database
Assist the database administrator with the proper filing of client documentation on drop box
Support & assist the Accounts Department
Assist with data entry into QuickBooks
Assist with the proper sorting and filing of important financial documents
General
Perform other clerical duties such as Scanning of important documents such as invoices, client documents, and personnel documents as required; printing and photocopying.
Making deposits at the bank
Provide support for the procurement officer and other office staff when required.
Any other administrative tasks
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Recent graduate with Diploma or higher in Business Administration or IT, or any related course
Knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, outlook)
Excellent communication skills
Quick learner
Ability to follow direction and attention to detail
Must have positive attitude and be a team player
