VACANCY: Presales Engineer
LEVEL: 5
LOCATION: Lusaka

JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of the role is to support sales productivity and deal flow by securing the "technical close" in complex solutions. The role holder will develop customer solution in the sales cycle, based on understanding customer needs and aligning those needs with the spectrum of Airtel's product offerings.

REPORTING TO THE ENTERPRISE DATA SOLUTIONS MANAGER, THE ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Develop detailed design solutions including bill of material configurations, logical call flows, and architecture diagrams.
Translating complex business requirements into Network solutions
Design and validate of solutions and providing guidance on best practices for implementation
Achieve a profit and productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the sales resources, market, and/or channel supported
Develop Leads, Partner relationships and maintain relationships with targeted organizations
Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure.
Shall support the sales team with the required product information, communicate sales strategies effectively and support sales team in the entire sales cycle.
Respond to RFP and Bid management


REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications  & Functional / Technical Skills
Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Electronics with Computing Option or any other IT related courses
Professional qualifications in Networking such as CCNA, CCNP or higher will be an added advantage.
Documentation management
Excellent written skills
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
4-5 years of work experience with 2 years of relevant experience in Telecom Industry.
Relevant experience in telecom enterprise services networking environment will be preferred.
Extensive knowledge of telecom enterprise business products and technical requirements.
Experience with solutions from leading Networking vendors (CISCO, JUNIPER,HP)

VACANCY: Business Support Application Engineer
LEVEL: Assistant Manager
LOCATION: Lusaka

JOB PURPOSE
Ensure that the data sources are correctly processed and that data is available and correct in the dashboard for the end business users.
Work with the users and ensure that they take initiatives based on the platform data and insight.

REPORTING TO THE IT MANAGER – BUSINESS SUPPORT SYSTEMS, THE ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Ensuring that the infrastructure is available and well sized
Ensuring that all the data sources are pulled to the ETL Server on a daily basis.
Ensuring that all the dimensions tables are updated on a weekly basis.
Executing the daily process of data quality by cross checking the mains KPI with different data sources.
Managing the access on the portal by adding, deleting and modify user account.
Ensuring that the web server portal is available and accessible.
Ensuring that all the dashboard has been refreshed successfully and contain the most recent data in the database.
Training the users on the platform.
Maintaining documentations for all tasks and processes

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications  & Functional / Technical Skills
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics Finance
Excellent knowledge of SQL, Excel, and OLAP.
ITIL3 certification preferred
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
1-2 years data analysis and business intelligence experience preferred.
1-2 years of experience with ETL technologies preferred
1-2 years telecom data background preferred.
1-2 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer or comparable experience preferred.

VACANCY: Business Continuity Management Manager
LEVEL: Senior Manager
LOCATION: Lusaka

JOB PURPOSE
Lead Airtel Zambia corporate in establishing strong Business Continuity program, policies and procedures.
Support all departments in establishing, developing and maintaining an effective business continuity management process.
Coordinate all functional BCM processes and tests and certifications for preparedness.
Plan, develop, implement and monitor an appropriate training and exercise programme to improve and demonstrate Airtel Zambia capability to meet recovery expectations.

REPORTING TO THE IT DIRECTOR, THE ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
1. Risk Assessments
Assist all business units in assessing the overall impact of a disaster to the business and coordination of the annual Business Impact Assessment process.
Recommend recovery strategies and options and assist with implementation of recovery solutions
Assist to develop, maintain and implement when needed, appropriate notification procedures
Assist to prepare periodic risk/ BCM status reports to management

2. Strategic Business Continuity Planning  Developments
Plan, develop, implement and monitor the Airtel corporate business continuity management strategy, policies, standards and procedures in line with the overall business strategy.
Develop, implement and maintain a Business Continuity Management Programme, which aligns with established standards and supports delivery of the Airtel obligations in line with the ZICTA/BOZ/laws of land guidelines to have an effective Business Continuity Management solution in place
Facilitate the development of effective Business Continuity plans across all critical service areas which will deliver recovery from major incidents within the required timescales.
Develop and implement awareness and training programme so that all Airtel Zambia staff understands their roles within an emergency (BCM) situation and are competent to deliver the required response.
Facilitate the response from the Crisis Management Team & Resilience Planning Group during an anticipated or unanticipated disruption and/or emergency
Coordinate the development and implementation of work area recovery plans for all critical services across the County
Develop and testing various departmental business continuity plans

3. Systems Testing and certifications
Coordinate and monitor various BCP certification processes
Ensure that all systems/application interdependencies and connectivity are verified.
Prepare and publish a testing and certification report and recommends remedial measures to ensure the systems are BCP compliance.
Establish industry , regulatory and external issues which impact BCM by engaging with relevant business units, regulators and Industry bodies and keeping up to date with their requirements

4. Project Management
Manage BCP project deliverables within allocated time and priorities
Manage business relationship with the partners and contractors during and after implementation.
Liaise with different team to coordinate the BCM projects
Keep abreast of best practices in the Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery fields.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications  & Functional / Technical Skills
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical &Electronic Engineering and Preferably with MBA or other related disciplines

Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)
3-5 years’ experience in co-coordinating the development,implementation and maintenance of a Business Continuity Programme for acomplex environment using ISO 22313standards
Other requirements (Behavioural etc.)
Experience in facilitating the delivery of response to an incident at senior manager level.
Experience in developing and delivering appropriate training to enhance Business Continuity management within an organization.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues and concepts in a simple manner
Demonstrated ability and experience to develop and defend technical recommendations and budgetary plans
Demonstrated experience working in a deadline-oriented environment managing multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated experience and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative and fast-paced atmosphere
Experience is working with multiple partners in complex structure with very good interpersonal skills
Excellent Report writing and Presentation skills
