Financial Controller
Job purpose:
The Financial Controller will be charged with the responsibility of ensuring the overall integrity and accuracy of the General Ledger as a basis for the preparation of Financial and Management Reporting as well as supporting the Chief Financial Officer on all matters relating to the operation of the finance department.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in setting the Stanbic Bank Zambia finance strategy and objectives.
• Ensure that all internal and external reporting requirements are timeously met, including preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts, prudential reporting and statutory annual Financial statements,
• Be the custodian of the general ledger, chart of accounts, and the central repository for all financial and management information for the bank.
• Responsible for the oversight of the internal financial controls unit
• Monitor all balance sheet and income statement account movements and ensuring that they reflect the correct balances and all relevant account reconciliations are performed and corrective actions taken timeously.
• Provide liaison between the bank and its external auditors
• Develop and manage financial and tax strategies
• Capital planning and management
• To manage the processing, payment and reconciliation of all suppliers.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to line staff

• Undergraduate degree with bias in Finance and Banking, ACCA or a Business related degree.

• In depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of personal computers and software packages such as
• MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access as well as working knowledge of SAP and is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills at a senior level.
• Strategic planning and management experience.
• Experience in change management and has the ability to positively lead change.

Procurement Manager
Job purpose:
The Procurement Manager will be charged with the responsibility of ensuring that the procurement standards, policies & procedures governing all third-party spend are embedded in the legal entity, that segregation of duties for authorising and paying third-party suppliers are maintained through appropriate systems and procedures; and that the controls outlined in the Board Delegations of Authority Framework function as intended is implemented.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the legal entity Procurement functions is proactively supporting the Business and Finance teams with lean and efficient sourcing and vendor management processes that meet the Group Standards for third-party procurement and payments
• Ensure that SLAs are understood and embedded in each legal entity across the Source to Pay Lifecycle
• Define and implement training / up skilling plans for the Procurement Team
• Improve the Procurement environment from a routine administrative functions into value adding business partners through: improvement of the quality, speed and reliability of supply service, reduction of the Total Cost of Ownership for all third-party sourced products and services,
• Improve Procurement capability and expertise on basic Sourcing, Procure to Pay, and Vendor Management disciplines by leveraging the core competencies and centres of excellence that exist in Johannesburg
• Implement the Procurement standards, policies, and supply chain capabilities across the Source to Pay Lifecycle
• Implement Procurement Transformation programs (system enabling and other) as required across the end-to-end value chain based on the Source to Pay Capability and Maturity Framework
• Drive the ratification of the Procurement Policies at the in-country boards and embed the Policies in the legal entity.
• Implement the Risk (Operational Risk, Operational Control, GFCC requirements ) and Compliance (Management of Outside Business Interest, Regulatory Universe and

Physical Security Manager
Job purpose:
The Security Manager will be charged with the responsibility of providing a country security service to support the banks standards of protection for people and assets at points of representation, other strategic installations and support operations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide the strategic prediction of security trends and patterns.
• Conducting programmed safety and security audits at PORs within the country to address requirements around physical Security matters, Procedural measures and Cash Management: Test for compliance recommendations, report and progress
• Promoting general security awareness and vigilance
• Security awareness presentations to branch staff
• Identifying new risks relating to procedures and where necessary, motivate amendment to existing procedures regarding the security of premises
• Analysing incidents in terms of their circumstances and or modus operandi and where necessary, motivate amendment to existing policy, specifications and standards, in order to eliminate the risks, and reduce the frequency and severity of such incidents
