Dispatch Manager
Our client, an international FMCG company wishes to hire a Dispatch Manager for their operations in Chisamba.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule and perform all dispatching and receiving activities required on a daily basis in accordance with health & safety standards.
  • Supervise the receiving operation and doing the capturing of inbound goods
  • Physically counting, weighing and recording all goods into Abaserve
  • Supervise picking and loading operation and doing the capturing of all items to be dispatched.
  • Physically check the quality of all items received and issued
  • Physically inspect and confirm the condition of returned goods
  • Ensure that refrigerated containers are cleaned and washed before loading to avoid contamination
  • Ensure vehicle is pre-cooled prior to loading
  • Perform routine stock counting
  • Receiving and loading bays must be kept clean throughout the day
Requirements
  • Over 5 years dispatch working experience in an FMCG background
  • Must be Computer literate
  • Good Communication Skills with the ability to Multitask
