Plan’s is looking for innovative, motivated self starter individuals to fill the following vacancy:
Program Manager Health (Lusaka Post)
The  Program Manager Health reports to the Program & Strategy Manager and  is responsible for managing and leading the delivery of Plan Zambia’s Health Program  and ensure that it is in line with the Country Strategic Plan, Country Program Goals and the Child Centered Community Development Approach. He/she is a member of the Country Program Team and;
The key areas of responsibility include:
  • Designing the health country Program of the CSP;
  • Networking and Resource Development;
  • Establish and implement standards of accountability, effectiveness and efficiency for the Health Country Program; and
  • Coordinating capacity building at all levels for effective and efficient delivery of the Health Country Program and projects at all levels.
  • Undertaking periodic field visits to the Program Units
  • Monitoring and Evaluation of the health program with lessons learned informing programming
  • HIV/AIDS Community Response
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in Public/Environmental Health or related discipline.
  • A Master’s Degree or higher will be an added advantage.
  • Six years working experience in the above fields of which 3 years have been at the management level
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead others promoting high performance
  • Communicates effectively and exhibits initiative and innovation
  • Excellent time management, planning, administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience in an NGO environment an added advantage
