SURVEYOR (SUR)
An international engineering firm invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to submit applications to fill the following positions. All positions are on a full time limited duration contract for a period not exceeding 2 years. The work will be based in or around Lusaka. Only Zambian citizens who meet the minimum requirements stated below will be considered. Local market related remuneration will be negotiated only with the selected candidates.
SURVEYOR (SUR)
- Relevant degree in land surveying or equivalent.
- Registration with the relevant Zambian professional body and a valid permit to set up benchmarks and to certify cadastral boundaries for the relevant Surveyor General authority.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction related industry.
- Own equipment (complete with up to date calibration certificates).
- Project performance requirements: Set out construction benchmarks to enable detailed setting out by the contractor; verify the location and marking of the primary control points; establish survey control systems; verify cadastral boundaries; surveys for quantity measurements; verify as-built surveys.
HOW TO APPLY
Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the relevant position should submit the following:·
- A clear statement of the position applied for and applicant’s contact details;
- A detailed curriculum vitae stating applicable qualifications and experience, including at least two contactable referees with telephone numbers and e-mail addresses;
- Certified copies of academic and professional qualifications (where applicable), ID’s and drivers’ licences.
