Job Analyst

JOB TITLE: JOB ANALYST (1 Position)
Purpose:  Responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating all job evaluation activities in the University.
Responsibilities
i) Preparing, coordinating and participating in the preparation or review of work plans, policies, work manuals, procedures and related documentation.
ii) Participates in conducting job interviews with jobholders, prepares job descriptions and specifications in consultation with Heads of Sections, Units and Departments and obtains approval from all concerned
iii) Assisting in preparation and maintenance of job catalogue and grading structure
iv) Participating in reviews, design and re-design of organization structures with heads of Departments and Units to ensure that they suit changes in the University and for use in the job evaluation
v) Maintaining an effective human resources information system through data entry and updates of staff records and to provide regular reports for management decisions.
vi) Uploading updates of Council office information on the University website and intranet
Qualifications
i) Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent.
ii) Diploma in Management Studies/Human Resources Management or Public Administration or any other related field.
iii) At least three (3) years relevant work experience.
iv) Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management.
v) Must be computer literate.
