Finance & Project Assistant


PMTC Zambia Is one of Zambia’s leading project management and consultancy companies working ¡n the field of international development cooperation and assistance. PMTC Zambia is a member of the Ecarys Group of Companies and has been operating in Zambia since 1992. We are currently recruiting for a Project Accountant and a Finance and Administration Project Assistant. Both positions will be based in Lusaka, with extensive travel across the entire country to be expected.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Financial
  • Financial Project Management;
  • Grant Management; and
  • Conducting Field Audits.
Administrative:
  • Overall logistical, administrative and secretarial support to project key and non-key experts as required;
  • Contracting processes for goods and services provided to the Project;
  • Managing office assets, stores and supplies; and
  • Filing and archiving project documentation, correspondence, etc.
Secretarial:
  • Organising periodic Project meetings (sending invitations, taking of minutes, etc.); and
  • Secretarial support to Projects.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
  • A University degree or equivalent educational qualification n public administration; business administration; bookkeeping and/or business management will be required;
  • Preferred Accountancy Qualification (part qualified. CPA, ACA, ACCA);
  • At lease 3-5 years working within a finance department of an international organisation.
