Human Resources Officer - Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc

Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced
Zambians for the position of HR Officer at Head Office aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, under the Human Resources and Training Division
Hr Officer – Head office (B5 X 1 )
Job Purpose:
To operate as an internal consultant and key influence in driving organizational outcomes through the people agenda whilst partnering with designated client areas to design arid deliver tailored HR solutions to enable the achievement of business objectives.
Under the Supervision of the Head — HR Business Partner Head office Divisions, the following are the Job’s key responsibilities among others:
• Central liaison point of HR issues and administration/operations for Head office departments.
• To provide proactive expert advice and guidance to line managers by recommending HR solutions across ail HR disciplines which drive fair and transparent working practices enabling a positive culture.
• Provide administrative/operations support to the Head — HR Business Partner Head office divisions.
• To proactively monitor and advise line managers on managing employee relations issues through to satisfactory resolution including disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement and other people management Issues ensuring at all times practices and establish a positive employer — employee relationship.
• To lead the annual people planning activities for client areas to include a workforce planning component that plans for required staffing needs well in advance of an immediate need arising from retirements, new positions and anticipated changes.
Qualifications and Experience
• University Degree in any Social Sciences, with distinction or merit, from a recognized University
• Must be Computer Literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and the use of other spreadsheets)
• Must be conversant with current Labour Laws and their application.
• Must be able to exercise confidentiality, discretionary judgment and work with strict deadlines.
• Must possess demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams and resolution of conflict
• Two (2) years’ work experience with exposure in Human Resource Management functions.
• Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
