City University College of Science of Science and Technology was established in 2008 under the Private Universities Act of 1999 by Zambian entreprenuers.It is registered with the Ministry of education and affiliated to the health profession Council of Zambia (HPCZ),University of Zambia – School of Medicine,the General Nursing Council of Zambia(GNCZ) and the higher education Authority.

The university has positions that need to be filled up by self motivated professionals;

The Vice Chancellor amalgamates all the schools in the university and reports to the Board of Directors

• Design strategies and policies towards the achievement of the university’s mission, vision, objectives and core values and supervises the implementation of the university’s strategic core business plans.
• Gather and analyses marketing intelligence for the competitive edge, and repositioning the university in the education market.
• Ensure efficient and effective operations of the university through research and development for the common good of all stakeholders.
• Increase and sustain student numbers and ensure that recruitment targets are meet their targets and regulatory compliance
• Ensure efficient and prudent use of university resources.
• Ensure staff motivation and promote a culture that supports the achievements of university objectives
• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the board

• A PhD in Educational leadership or any other relevants discipline
• Having a professional status would be an added advantage
• A minimum of Five (5) years experience in senior university management
• A leader and a team player with strong listening and communication skills
