M&E Office & Grant Administrator

Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following vacancies. The position will be based in Lusaka.
M&E Officer and Grant Administrator for the TCE project and other health related projects:
The position is vacant in the CDC funded Total Control of the Epidemic (TCE) project, which focuses on HIV prevention through door to door counselling, testing and information. The core function will be to maintain and ensure the proper use of performance monitoring indicators and measurement systems including database development and management, development of data collection tools and coordinating routine data collection activities as well as monitoring and evaluations and preparing reports.
Qualifications:
  • A diploma in Social Sciences (Statistics, Development Studies) or other relevant qualification with at least 3 years NGO experience in a similar position; or
  • a degree in Social Sciences (Statistics, Development Studies) or other relevant qualification with at least 1 year NGO experience in a similar position.
  • Above average ability to use computer programs: MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel and SPSS
  • Previous experience with a USAID funded program is an added advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Proposal Development /Fundraising Specialist:
The candidate will be expected to identify funding opportunities through interacting with potential partners as well as via internet and to develop and write winning proposals to governmental, local and international partners
Qualifications:
  • At least a diploma in Social Sciences, Development Studies or other relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience – including experience in fundraising and proposal development.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
