Job Title: Proofreading & Editing Services
1. Objective
The main objective of this scope of work is to support the STEP- Up Zambia project in the planning, development and final copy editing of its 2013 annual report and quarter three report covering the period of a) October 2012 – September 2013 and 1st April 2015-30th June 2015.
2. Key Activities
a) Review standard annual and quarterly report format (provided by STEP-Up Zambia) and provide suggestions if required to improve clarity, legibility and overall quality.
b) Provide copy-editing feedback and correct initial draft of 2013 annual report and quarter three report prepared by STEP-Up Zambia task leaders.
c) Discuss the document to seek clarity from the M&E Specialist, Task Managers and COP especially in the “success story” narratives included in the report.
d) Copy-edit final reports in coordination with the M&E Specialist for final review by the Chief of Party no later than July 20th.
e) Provide feedback on the graphics and/or photos to be added to the reports
3. Deliverables
a) Final quarterly report for review of approximately 40 pages in 1.15 line spacing and Times Roman font, sized 12.
b) Final 2013 annual report for review approximately 30 pages in 1.15 line spacing and Times Roman font, sized 12.
4. Reporting
During this assignment the consultant will report to Sergio Ramírez-Mena, Chief of Party (or his designee), and copy Ms. Brenda Mwanza.
5. Period of Performance and Level of Effort
This Scope of Work will be implemented from June 22th to 26th for annual report (5 days) and 13th to 16th for quarter three report . Up to4 days of Level of Effort are authorized during this period based on a six-day work week. Successful completion of this assignment is contingent upon meeting all deliverable requests.
