Registrations Officer
The Health Professionals Council of Zambia is a statutory regulatory body under the Ministry of Health with both statutory obligations to regulate the registration of health care facilities and health practitioners as well as maintaining optimal standards of competence, care and professional conduct.
Job Profile:
To undertake effectively the processing for Student Indexing, Health Practitioners and issuance of Practicing Certificates in order to ensure that registered students and health practitioners meet the statutory requirements.
Main Duties:
  • Undertakes effectively the processing of applications for student indexing and Health practitioners in order to facilitate registration of students and health practitioners
  • Undertakes effectively the issuance of annual practicing certificates of Health Practitioners in order to ensure compliance to the set standards
  • Undertakes effectively entry of data on the database in order to facilitate record keeping and
  • Undertakes effectively the administration of monitoring and evaluation instruments in order to facilitate data analysis
Reporting relationship, knowledge and skills required:
  • Reporting to the Senior Registration Officer
  • BSc in Health related Sciences/BA Degree in Social Sciences
  • Full Grade 12 / Form V School Certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • Excellent English language oral and written communication skills with interpersonal skills
