Segment Analyst
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop segment growth tactical strategy in conjunction with Product Development and Brand teams
- Effectively measure and evaluate activities and general performance within the mass and youth value segment.
- Support in the development of relevant advertising/communication
- Apply research skill to accomplish business objectives
- Ensure deployment of segment marketing strategies including propositions, products/services , customer engagement offerings aligned with the MTN brand promise
- Monitor effectively the execution of strategy against specifications and make recommendations on interventions to bridge gaps
- Evaluate new opportunities for revenue growth and provide assistance required in support of the business or tactical plans on an adhoc basis.
- Provide delivery and performance tracking through regular reporting.
Requirements
- Degree in marketing or any other Business/Commerce related degree
- 3 years experience of which:
- Marketing experience within an FMCG or Advertising / Communications Industry
- Experience in the telecommunications industry
