Action Africa Help Zambia is looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the post of Senior Programme Manager.
The Senior Programme Manager shall assist the Zambia Country Director to deliver AAH-International vision, mission and Strategic Plan. He/she will play a key role in supporting the Country Director to ensure efficient and effective implementation of programmes, programs design and management, proposal writing and use of other appropriate resource mobilization strategies, provide technical and logistical support in program implementation, in collaboration with the Finance and Administration Manager ensure AAH-Zambia’s programmes and financial management policies and procedures are adhered to according to AAH-Z.
Requirements:
The job holder shall possess the following qualifications;
- A first degree from a recognized university in any of the following disciplines- Development Studies, International relations, Community Development, Gender studies and social work. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 3 years work experience at Management level in a not for profit working environment.
- Possess deep analytical skills, understanding of participatory methods and experience working with and in building capacities of new and existing community local structures. Wide experience in working with rural communities.
- Computer literate and possesses a valid driver’s license.
